Financial Conflict of Interest Policy

In compliance with federal regulations, Salus Discovery requires Investigators on a sponsored project to disclose a listing of significant financial interests (and those of their spouse and dependent children) that reasonably appear to be related to the Investigator’s institutional responsibilities (e.g., research, research consultation, clinical activities, administrative responsibilities) that are performed on behalf of Salus. All individuals who meet the definition of “Investigator” who are participating in the research must complete a disclosure form.

NEW federal regulations regarding financial conflict of interest (FCOI) have been issued by the Department of Health and Human Services and went into effect August 24, 2012.
